alas I painted a few Deja Entendu themed records in early 2011. I can do them again as a custom order though for $30 once I reopen my shop
DO YOU WANT SOMETHING FROM MY SHOP FOR CHRISTMAS? MAKE SURE IT’LL ARRIVE ON TIME!
CHRISTMAS ORDER DEADLINES:
- Domestic (USA) orders must be placed by DECEMBER 10TH*
- International orders must be placed by DECEMBER 3RD
Any orders placed AFTER these deadlines may not make it in time for December 24th delivery. Don’t procrastinate because you will not get your gifts on time, plan now and order early!
* Please note the updated domestic deadline - this is due to a high volume of orders and want to be sure I can guarantee your delivery on time!
** I ship ALL domestic packages as “Priority Mail” and ALL international packages as ”First Class International Mail” via the USPS by default. However if you miss my deadline I can always send your order a faster route for a higher shipping cost. PLEASE contact me if you need faster shipping options this holiday season because you missed my deadline.
My last sale before Christmas is Friday, December 7th (my birthday!) so please take advantage of that if you’re buying someone a holiday gift!
- Val from Valderie Originals - Now on Etsy and Storenvy
Now accepting gift cards!
My Shop now accepts Etsy Gift Cards in time for the holiday season. Find out more about giving an Etsy Gift Card here: https://www.etsy.com/giftcards
That means if you ever wanted to give someone a custom record of mine but weren’t sure what they liked, you can just buy them an Etsy gift card and they can redeem it at my Shop at check out (or of course, at any other Etsy shop that accepts them!)
If you want to keep my posts, and any other page you like, in your Facebook newsfeed please follow the steps outlined above!
mnkyduby12 asked: No question - just wanted to say that your art is awesome! I've been on a major gaslight anthem/frank turner kick lately and fuckyeahgaslightanthem reblogged one of your paintings, which led to me spending like an hour going through your tumblr and now I'm inspired to get back into painting, so thanks! Really, really cool stuff - I definitely want to get a fthc painted record, just have to pick out which one :)
Awesome! Thanks for the compliment and happy to inspire you to get back involved with art!!
also congrats on having excellent taste in music :)
thewalruswasruby asked: Stupid question, but are the records real? Or just painted to look like records haha. jw :)
yep theyre all real records! old, scratched ones mainly. but because theyre painted they can’t be played anymore as you’d ruin your record player and scratch the paint.
favorite-f1x asked: what paint do you use for the vinyl records?
acrylics!
How to leave feedback for Etsy shop owners!
Feedback is an important part of Etsy. For me, it lets me know the customer has received their order and is happy with it! Receiving new feedback makes mine, and many other shop owners, days. However Etsy can be confusing as it’s constantly changing, so here’s how you can leave some!
First, log into Etsy.com and the top of the site will look like this below. Find the “Your Account” link on the top right:
Hover over the link and a drop down box will appear where you can select “Feedback”:
This will bring you to the Feedback page, where you can leave positive, neutral or negative feedback on your orders, add commentary and even upload a photo for the shop owner to see. It’ll look something like this:
Feedback is important not only to the shop owner, but to other customers. Seeing other peoples comments will give a potential customer the confidence to order something from someone who has 100% positive feedback, or be wary if there’s negative comments left. Only the shop owner will see who left what comment, to everyone else it’s anonymous and looks like this:
Conversely, shop owners can leave customers feedback on whether they were good to work with, paid on time, etc. Hope this was helpful, and if you’ve ordered something from my shop recently I hope you’ll leave me some feedback about your experience over on Etsy! :D
